The Mitten Children's Museum's mission is "to encourage children of all abilities to experience hands-on learning offering safe, fun, inviting exhibits and programs." The exhibit shown was commissioned to educate young museum goers about the variety of life calling the coastal Great Lakes ecosystem home. The landscape backdrop was painted by Kayla Wyszynski Ridley, and the plants and animals, that can magnetically move across the scene, were painted by Grace Ridley in Acrylic. Both creative elements were scanned and printed to create an informative and fun interactive experience.
