The dining hall within Senior Services of Van Buren County offers regular reduced cost lunches to its seniors in the community. Their space is broken up into tables and booths for members to share a meal together alongside large windows allowing natural light to peer inside. The walls along the windows were needing a splash of color to help brighten and liven up the space. Henceforth, vibrant green vines and leaves were painted (by Kayla Wyszynski Ridley)stretching from one end to the next and a variety of colorful sculpted metal flowers (created by Kathy Kreager) were mounted on top adding a three dimensional touch to the artwork. The piece serves as an extension of the overall design of the space and offers a more welcoming environment for its members to gather.
